Hi,

Could anybody tell me what the reference of this ship is?

Here are a few clues:

  • I believe it’s an Analog Devices chip

  • It is a dual Amp Op

More generally, how do you decipher the code on the packaging and link it to a manufacturer part number?

It is an ADI chip. Codes are often in the data sheets, but it would be a lot of work to go thtough them all. ADI might have a cross-reference table on their web site.

How badly do you want to know?

If you really want to know badly, get the chip decapped + photographed, and see what the die says.
