What is the point of the 6v battery pack then ? is it not for arduino ? i was recommended this part…

With alkaline batteries, voltage = 6.4 (completelt fresh, but been lying around for some time)
With lithium, voltage = 6,7 (used for a little bit while experimenting)

Anyone have a suggestion about a ceapish decent battery with a charger ?
Lithium batts are 3.7V per cell, you might look into using 2 or 3 of those. Or perhaps find a [6 cell holder (or make the equivalent yourself) if you don’t want to mess with LiPo’s.](http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=140-976&utm_source=googleps)
