Ok boys, have at it. I revised much of my original code and ported it over to the ARM platform. Nathan was kind enough to put it up on the Color LCD site today (thanks Nathan!)
I must say, using the ARM to drive the Color LCD is awesome! Its now super fast to display images. I have added a routine to enable the 4096 color mode. fixed the circle routines for better performance, and done some other performance changes. there is a full demo there for the CrossWorks development package. For those of you with the "Development Board Atmel SAM7 ARM " and this Color LCD, down load the code, and connect the LCD to the header. the connections are as follows:
Board Connections
Olimex ARM Board header (the long strip) — LCD carrier Board
3.3V – Vin
PA11 – ~CS
PA13 – SDATA
PA14 – SCLK
PA15 – RST
GND – GND
Thats it!
then flash the ARM to watch the demo, its cool.
I also took a video of it and is posed here.
