was recently imposed on Discourse users. Those who are unhappy with the change can click the “A” button (left on editor mode selection panel) to switch back to the old “preview” markdown editor.

If you see the “M+” switch icon, you’re in good old “standard Markdown” mode
If you see “A”, you’re in “rich text” mode. Boo! Hiss!
