The email below from Olimex describes some new development boards. Will Sparkfun be selling these? I’m particularly interested in the STR711 board. Any idea when this will be available from Sparkfun?

Sparkfun will probably get stock when olimlex do, nathan will probably want to ‘play’ with a couple of them first to ‘identify’ any possible support related questions.

As nathan was @ olimex HQ just a few weeks ago, he probably knows about these and lots, lots more! lol. Keep ur eyes peeled!

I got a e-mail from Olimex that the USB JTAG for the MSP430 should be available by end of this month, I hope Sparkfun could stock them too :slight_smile:

Sorry for not checking the forum more often… Why don’t I get these wonderful emails from Olimex :wink:

Anything that Olimex releases, we will stock. Olimex often claims to have new items for sale, but then has no stock. This is rarely their fault and usually a problem with the processor maker. For instance the, LPC-2148 boards are completely held up because Phillips has been unable to supply the actual LPC2148 IC. Olimex has the boards ready, often they are waiting for the main part…

Time to place an olimex order!
