New project commission

So–I am new to the forums but am seeking a developer to help me with a project that I would like to make some progress on.

In general the project is as follows:

  1. Electonic wireless bike shifter

  2. Must use a wireless remote for actuation (prelim concept for connectivity is bluetooth)

  3. Current hardware slated for use requires a 5v power supply

  4. Smallest overall package possible

A little about me…Mechanical Engineer currently working the field of HVAC. I currently own/run a small 15 person engineering company in California but want to chase some dream ideas in the cycling field as I am an avid mountainbiker…I am constantly full of ideas and would like to build some resources to help turn some of the ideas into reality! I am not sure if this is the correct place to post something like this but am excited to have found this fantastic resource where so many people seem to share a passion for electronics and development!

I do not code, know very little about programming and or electronics hardware but have a fairly well rounded view of sound engineering principals and am sharp enough to know that if I am serious about getting something done then I need to get past DIY and develop a relationship with a developer!

To clarify–despite my lack of intimate knowledge of certain aspects of this project I do have a very relevant example build AND have selected the mechanical hardware. The example build includes a lot of information on programming strategy along with quite a bit of code already lined out.
