New to wireless: Send picture using bluetooth?

Hi,

I have a camera module that normally saves the file on a SD card, but I would like to use bluetooth (or any other wireless solution with fast transfer rate) to send that picture to another device that would save it to it’s own memory card.

On my camera module the processor can use I2C or UART to send the data to a Bluetooth transceiver, and the “backup” module would have its Bluetooth transceiver feed the data to something like a DOSonchip module and into a memory card.

My question is, can I use 2 [WRL-00158 for example, and have them speak with one another without the using of a computer or phone?

I am also open to other alternatives to Bluetooth to transfer files quickly.

Thanks,

I have looked at the BlueTooth tutorial and it says the DIP module such as the [WRL-08461 can communicate with one another. I guess I could get 2 of these and have one act as master and initiate the search for the other DIP module.](Bluetooth DIP Module - Roving Networks - WRL-08550 - SparkFun Electronics)
