Hi,
So, it appears you changed the look of your website – lots of black. Looks really cool and stuff, but did the designers actually try to use it? I think not, because of the various problems I’ve been encountering while…well, trying to use it.
Such as:
-
When I’m on the page to upload my Gerber files, the Browse textbox is black text on a black background!! The first time, I thought it didn’t work! But, then I got the bright idea to highlight the text, and found it there hiding in the murky recesses.
-
Then, after uploading the files, on the page where it displays the interpretation of the Gerber files, the back ground is SO dark, it’s hard to see the result–so how am I suppose to verify the file identities if I can’t even see the blasted renderings?
-
On the FAQ page, the links look like regular text. I was trying to find a particular link (that I swear I remember seeing there before, but I CAN’T FIND IT BECAUSE ALL THE LINKS LOOK LIKE REGULAR TEXT!! Sure, if my mouse rolls over a link, it underlines…so what am I supposed to do? Run my mouse pointer over every word??? Also, when someone is reading the FAQ, how are they supposed to know that they have just rolled their eyes over a link opportunity if there is no visual distinction between a link and the text all around it?
So my review of your new website is “Highly cool looking, but functionally challenged!”
