Newbe question re Tutorial 3

I have my bread board ATmega168 running the “Blink” program. Lesson 3 is adding the external clock. My question the phrase “Command Prompt” is this not “Run” in windows? If it is run where do I find ‘avrdude’? Is it the .exe in the Bin folder?

You use “cmd” with Start>Run to get the command prompt.

Thank you leon_heller that is what I was missing. Now I can get myself in real trouble changing the micros clock speed.
