Hola everyone. New guy here. New to Arduino. New to tinkering. Not new to electronics, but new enough that I have a million questions. I am currently searching and reading through the forums as we speak, but since I don’t know how to word exactly what it is I am looking to do, I get mixed results. So if this has been covered, cut me some slack… still trying to learn.
I am trying to do something relatively simple (from what I am told), but here is where I am.
Want a device that has two inputs. One RF (via a KeyFob or BT from a cell phone), the other audio. Each input will have the same output. One servo/actuator that moves a certain direction depending on the input and how loud it is, or depending on how many times the user urges the servo to move.
Size isn’t an issue as this will all go inside something the size of a shoe box.
Essentially. If DBs get to a certain point, the servo moves in one direction a certain # of degrees. Moreso for louder occurrances (if that’s possible), but not necessary. Also want to be able to have a user with a KeyFob (or BT from their phone if possible), select the servo to move in the same # of increments (up or down).
Essentially, it’s a sound meter that lets individuals know they have been loud, moving a certain # of degrees dependent on the level of DBs. If that’s not easily done, would be interested in being able to move the servo manually via a KeyFob (or BT).
Hope that makes sense.
