Can you please provide a simple sketch or example project to help illustrate your goal?
Thanks, so we have a gsm sms alert system that needs signal that a wire (any wire from 3-phase core) is having no current, so we can know that system is OFF or ON , there is non invasive CT on product site but dont know how to use it so that we get signal.
My best solution would be using a inductive approach. Something like this product: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11005.
Thanks , this is what i am referring to above, but how do we integrate it in our system so we get +5v(ON) and 0v(OFF) with using simple relays (no arduino)
For your specific system, you may have to purchase a module and test for the range of values you seen in your operation. Once you know that you could design a simple voltage divider or more sophisticated logic triggering systems. There’s no one way I can tell you to do it.
Thanks a lot, can you guide me with links to use voltage dividers or any other ready to use circuits that can be integrated to audio jack of Non invasive current sensor.
Careful - no current flow does NOT mean that there is no voltage, or that the system is safe. Think about a blown fuse or broken wire.
