nRF24L01 timing

Hello,

In the radio control state diagram of the nRF24L01 we can see timing.

must we to wait the specified timing.

e.g. waiting 1.5ms between power_up = 1 and the pulse on CE pin ?

regards.

It’s pretty important to adhere to the timings in the 24L01 datasheet. Otherwise, you’ll likely miss a few packets if you try to send stuff too early.

Hi All,

I am currently integrated nRF24L01 with RFI211 from RF Arrays India in order to get a high power solution with about 18dBm of output RF power.

My problem is as follows :

  1. With the Nordic refrence design I am not gettting good RF Power ( its about 8 dBm) but can send the data.

  2. If I change the discrete balun matching i am getting 18dBm of RF power but I am unable to send data.

Can anyone here suggest me where I am making a mistake ?

Thanks in advance

Manish

Hi everyone !!!

I have just completed the schematic design for integrating AT86RF231 with External PA/LNA with 20dBm RF output power and Antenna Diversity. The PCB design is underway and I hope to ship samples by mid of May. Presently I am finding difficulty in finding AT86RF231 IC with most online vendors. Plz help in this regard. I intend to sell this module at $30 in retail.

I have also developed the following 2.4 GHz High Power RF Modules (18dBm):

  1. Nordic nRF24L01/L01+ : With external RF Front End (TRX IC + RF), SPI Interface @ $25 in retail.

  2. Jennic JN5139 : With external RF Front End (SoC + RF) @ $25 in retail.

  3. TI CC2430 : With external RF Front End (SoC + RF) @ $30 in retail.

  4. Radio Pulse MG2455 : With external RF Front End (SoC + RF) @ $30 in retail.

I am also looking forward to provide consulting and team-up for any design & development activity which involves integrating low power baseband SoC with External RF Front End/ PA/ LNA.

Kindly let me know if anyone is interested. I can be contacted at Email: info@rftrinity.com or at cell: +91-9860863334/+91-9561504646.

Happy to help !!!
