I am unable to build any of the AT91SAM7S examples provided by Olimex.
I keep getting an error “make:***[begin] Error 127”
I must be dummer than a dummy cos I’ve read everything and tried everything to get this working and the minimal documentation provided is of no use whatsoever.
Can you quote a few lines more?
No body has mentioned that compiler for a long time.
Why not try Yagarto instead ?

The problem, I think, seems to be the way I am importing the examples into Eclipse. I have been using IAR embedded workbench for the last six months and no problems with all the Olimex IAR examples provided. You just click on the workspace file and it all happens for you. Unfortunately their ‘for dummies’ GCC/Eclipse software is a disaster for me.
I decided to purchase a programmer I didn’t need to get this “for dummies” software. Unfortunately there is no documentation provided on how to properly set this up and import the examples.
If anyone could give me step by step instructions (as I would have expected from Olimex!) on how to set this up for AT91SAM7S and how/where to import the files. The particular example I am trying to import is the USB Virtual CommPort at http://www.olimex.com/dev/soft/arm/SAM7 … CLIPSE.zip.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
