OpenLog Qwiic Stops Collecting Data after a Few Seconds

Hi all,

I am teaching a wearables course for students in their home-offices, and for this course they have to use the openlog. When I tested everything myself, I had no issues. In one of the experiments, they have to use the accelerometer qwiic and the openlog qwiic with the redboard qwiic and collect a few seconds accelerometer data and store it on the micro SD. Quiet a few students have complained, that their data collection always stops at the same time point. (E.g.: Right before 3000ms, or right before 4000ms).

In the beginning I thought I could solve the problem by telling them to re-format their micro SD card, but that seemed to not solve the problem for most of them.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Patrick

It seems like that for some it is at the same time point, for some others it just stops at random times, but usually after a few seconds.

I finally have a device myself with the same problem. The micro SD stops collecting after around 2.5s, even though the green light keeps flashing. I am trying to figure out now if this is an SD card problem or an openlog problem. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
