OpenOCD with PPC target architecture

Hello,

I’m interested to work with a PPC microcontroller. In the past I read that someone was working on OpenOCD to make it compatible with these targets. Someone is already working on this?

Cannot say I have ever heard of anyone working on ppc target support in OpenOCD.

Anyone is interested to this project? I want extend the support in OpenOCD for PowerPC devices like the ST/Freescale SPC56x/MPC56xx, but I need for more information and a collaboration.
