I am trying to use the LoRa Serial kit to transmit base corrections between two RTK Postcards. I am struggling to get consistent communication.
I am running V2.3 RTK Everywhere on the postcards and V6 on the LG290P. The LoRa are connected directly through the UART3 on the Postcard.
The LG290P does not support 57600 bps on the UART3 so I have changed the Postcard to use 115200 bps on the UART3.
Given that the default for the LoRa is 57600, I need to permanently change this on the LoRa.
As well, doing the calc, it seems as though the default air speed baud rate of the LoRa is not fast enough (4800). I’d like to set it to its max speed of 19200 as my distance is less than 1km with good LoS between the base and the rover.
I have been able to permanently set the serial speed to 115200 bps in part by following this thread.
However, using the same AT commands, I can’t permanently set the airspeed to 19200. Sometimes it takes me 1 or 2 tries before it will show me that its set to 19200. However when I power cycle it always resets to 0 which I assume is default - 4800. I am using the following AT commands:
+++
AT-AirSpeed=19200
(it will give me a warning about changing 5 parameters)
ATW
ATI0 (to check - typically it shows 19200 at this point)
ATO
power cycle
+++
ATI0 (to check - it always shows 0 after the power cycle)
Can someone provide assistance on how to make this change permanent?
Thanks,
Paul
