Hi, I’m planning on undertaking a massive project.
Making a fully working Pip-Boy 3000.
I plan to program an app for whatever OS the board will use for the PIP BOY app, and plan for it to also be like a smartphone wearable.
I’m also planning to get an old tape recorder and taking it apart and putting it in the area where tapes can go, think that would be cool, and separate from the rest of the thing.
EDIT: Single Board computer found: The Odroid-C1+
The C1+ has native android support, and is as small as a Raspberry Pi.
Now I just need to find a small enough speaker and microphone, like the kind they have on smartphones, and maybe a 4G LTE/GPS chip to attach to the board
or input via usb.
EDIT 2: Got sound figured out, unfortunately I have to use one of the USB’s on the board for a USB DAC because I couldn’t find one that was 48 kHz, which is the max android supports.
Also looking for a 4.3 - 5 in capacitive touch screen that works for most one board computers, can’t find any so far in my searches.
