Plastic Ant Bot Kits

I am new to 3D printing and electronics. My son and I are looking for any kits out there that would have 3d download prints, motors, RC receiver/transmitter, etc… that we could buy. We are looking for a system that we can print out ourselves, will have at minimum tank driving for a 2 wheel bot and a motor for a weapon.

If there arent any kits, does anyone have a list of items we could search for on Amazon/hobby king, etc…?

Hi Andrew.

Unfortunately we don’t carry a kit but you can find them online. Something like [this might be a good place to start if you’re looking for a kit of parts.

If you want a more DIY approach, [this video might help you choosing parts.

We don’t carry a radio and receiver but those can be found at a hobby shop that carries RC toys. We carry some batteries but they are likely too large and heavy for an ant weight robot, although you should be able to find suitable batteries at the same store you get your radio from. (We do have LiPo cells you could build a battery pack from, but that’s getting fairly advanced. Might be easier to get a ready made battery and charger from the hobby shop.)
