Point to multipoint RTK corrections using Holybro Microhard P900

Hi everyone,

We’ve got a whole bunch of old RTK Facet L-band units that I’d like to set up with one unit as a base station broadcasting corrections to multiple rovers (local, line of site over radio.) Does anyone have any experience using the Holybro P900 Microhard (haha) radios in point-to-multipoint configuration for RTCM corrections straight out of a Facet? Looking through the Holybro documentation, it seems possible.

I’ve had good success in the past using the Holybro SIK LoRa radios (from Sparkfun) to do point-to-point corrections from one Facet set as base to another Facet set as rover, but they do not seem to be capable of being set as point-to-multipoint. (I’ve also experimented with some EByte E32900T30D radios but could never get them to work with the RTCM binary string).

Thanks!

Luke.

Thanks for your response, Russell. I’ve read on this forum that those Sparkfun LoRa radios have difficulty transmitting the full RTCM packets. A colleague of mine has three of them set to point-to-multipoint, and says that they intermittently will revert back to point-to-point configuration without warning. I’m going to borrow them maybe tomorrow and try them out – any words of wisdom / (and I don’t mean to sound like a jerk), but are there any successful use cases with them set point-to-multipoint transmitting corrections from one base to multiple rovers out there?
