Hi

Unfortunately, my workplace still forces be to use IE6, and in there the middle column in the new site drops below the others - it didn’t do this before.

If it’s too much work to fix, I can deal!

Hey, I’m so sorry your workplace forces IE6 on you… there are better browsers!

You should get a splash page when you load the site that informs you that with this release we are no longer supporting IE6. Google, Facebook and many others have dropped support for it and it just takes too many resources to hack into submission. We support IE7+, and most other modern browsers as well as [Google Chrome Frame which is a good option if you are forced to use IE6.

Good luck!
Oh I know - I use Firefox and Chrome at home!

I’m not getting a splash at work, but that may be because I was already logged in. I will delete my cookies and test tomorrow.

Don’t worry too much - my day job is a web developer, so I understand the pain of IE6!

The reason we don’t check for overload is - if people want to order that many of any one item, LET THEM! :)
I suppose we could up the column to a bigint and allow for up to 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 of a single item on an order. Even if that was one of our cheapest little LEDs we could all retire to solid gold moon fortresses following that order.

I’m more of a platinum guy, but I like the way you think.

As a side note, IT would love to have their own kegerator and a soft serve ice cream machine, so if somebody feels like donating the lowly sum of a couple of thousand dollars straight to us rather than ordering billions of LED’s, this is acceptable as well.

I can’t upload a jpeg image. Not sure if this is a new problem or not. The image has a .jpg extension, not .jpeg if that makes a difference.

Edit: Fixed. Deploying in a minute or two.

fixed!

RSS Feed via Google Reader has sent me the last 5 items 3 times now today, with the most recent being in the last hour. Not simply unread items, whole new copies of those items as being unread as if they were brand new items.

When looking at an order in the order history page, items that have >1 quantity do not have correct subtotal.

The subtotal should say something like: $10 ($2 each)

I’ve received this message when i wanted to submit my order:

Please fix the errors below in the fields marked with asterisks (*).

This transaction has been declined.

But, there wasn’t any marked fields. Nothing that could inform me where I’ve made a mistake.

I have checked everything and submitted it again just to gain other error:

Please fix the errors below in the fields marked with asterisks (*).

Found similar transaction.

(or something near those lines).

Fixed, and in the pipeline. Thanks!

That essentially means that your credit card was declined for one reason or other (likely a typo in the CCV or the actual CC#). Then when you enter it again, there’s now a delay there before another credit card transaction can be approved. If you try again in a few minutes it should work.

We’ll see if we can find another solution to the problem than what we currently do.

Tutorials should now work 100%: no 404s, all images load, etc.

Please let me know if I missed anything!
