I like to control mains power at mains entrance 240 V through an SMS controlled relay. Arduino SMS shield will be used.I request anybody to suggest a suitable relay.

What is the load current? Relay will be decided by the load current.

Do you mean where it enters your house? Or where it enters a device? In case of the first, I think you’re going to get in trouble with building regulations, insurance claims incase of fire and all kinds of legal issues I can’t find the words for.
