Power Driver Shield DEV-10618 Wiring

I’m attempting to power two 12V solenoid valves using an Arduino UNO and the power driver shield. According to the schematic, each +/- connection to the MOSFET is connected to its corresponding pin within the board. However, I am not getting any power to the valves for them to actuate. Can you assist with troubleshooting this issue? (I recognize that the DC power connection is not connected in the photos.)

When you turn on the external supply and the power switch on the shield, do the LEDs light up?

Can you show a picture of the back side of the board? It looks like the Molex power connector doesn’t have much solder filling the holes.

Does it need an external power supply in addition to the one on the arduino? I do not have anything attached in the molex power connector.

If you're wanting to use the 12V functionality, then you need a separate 12V power supply.

Yes, you need to connect an ATX power supply to the molex connector on the end of the board. The Arduino itself doesn’t supply any power to the shield but the shield will provide power to the Arduino.
