Problem with Arduino mega 2560 connection with the usb host

Hello friends,

I am using Arduino Mega 2560 with Usb Host Shield. I connected a pendrive with the host shield.The usbdesc code got uploaded but the serial monitor displays-- Start OSC did not start.

But when i connected it to the Arduino Uno and uploaded the code, the serial monitor gives the desired output.

I need to connnect it to the arduino mega 2560.

Kindly suggest me what should be done to get the desired output.

perhaps, going into your control panel / device manager / com ports / check to see if settings are desirable or like Ive had to do a lot of this week, trying alternate tweeks on stuff like flow control (hardware, software, etc) or baud rates, for one that just keys well and takes off.

Ive had to recently adjust baud a lot to get stuff connected, as certain settings, or any of them -except one- didn’t work!
