Hello,
Since every problem so far with my setup has been solved by reading old threads from this forum I thought my hopefully last but sadly most confusing problem could be solved here as well. My problem is that after I have connected with the MCU and try to debug I get this very informative error: ‘No register.’
Edit: This always happens at 27% if that might be relevant.
I’m using the following setup:
Windows XP
Eclipse IDE helios (Build id: 20100917-0705)
OpenOCD 0.4.0
GNUARM
Cygwin
Olimex arm-usb-ocd
STR H711
When connecting I get this response:
jtag_nsrst_delay: 500
jtag_ntrst_delay: 500
15 kHz
trst_and_srst srst_pulls_trst srst_gates_jtag trst_push_pull srst_open_drain
Warn : use 'str711.cpu' as target identifier, not '0'
Info : clock speed 15 kHz
Info : JTAG tap: str711.cpu tap/device found: 0x3f0f0f0f (mfg: 0x787, part: 0xf0f0, ver: 0x3)
Info : Embedded ICE version 1
Info : str711.cpu: hardware has 2 breakpoint/watchpoint units
When building I get this text, this is the last and hopefully relevant part:

I don’t know how to fix the main.sym error, I run this to complete the file:
C:GNUARM\bin>arm-elf-nm.exe -n C:\projects\str_711\main.elf > C:\projects\str_711\main.sym
Here is the make file if anyone bothers to read it:

I would be really happy if anyone could help me with this. I need this to work for a project at my new job, since everyone is on vacation I don’t have anyone to ask for help…
If there is any information that might be useful pleas let me know.
Pleas disregard the grammar errors, English isn’t my native language.
