Hello everyone,
I’m using the Simultaneous RFID Reader - M6E Nano with the UNO R3 board, and I’ve downloaded the Sparkfun Arduino library. Unfortunately, none of the available examples seem to be working for me. I’ve followed all the steps in the instructions, but I’m unable to read any tags. Is the UNO R3 board not compatible, or could there be another issue?
Thank you very much for your assistance, and greetings from Germany!
it is compatible with UnoR3.
Which tags do you use ?
Make sure to put your tags right on-top-off the antenna on the board.
make sure the board does not connect to the USB connector of the UNO.
thanks for the feedback! it works there really was a connection between the USB port and the board. However, the range is very short… which tags would you recommend to achieve the long range? In the next step I would also connect the UHF RFID Antenna (RP-TNC).
Greetings Ludwig
Good to hear. It is not so much a matter of tags, but read and write power. Make sure to read the many other posts in the RFID area. There are several important recommendations and experiences to take into account.
