I’m trying to make a board for a cheap Ball Grid Array chip so that I can practice soldering the thing in a toster oven, which i’ll need to do for a project of mine. I’ve got the board done and sent it in. The first time it came back because some things were spaced too closely, but the second time it came back:
Hello Amitvikram,
Your order to BatchPCB has been canceled, your drill files are
misaligned and cannot be imported as you have specified them. Please
refer to the FAQ and the Support Forums for more help. I have refunded
your 24.09. Please recheck and resubmit your order. Thanks for using
BatchPCB.

I’ve done everything I can think of. When I load the stuff into ViewMate, it looks like everything is aligned fine, but I notice that the origins are a bit off from each other (is that ok or is that the problem?). So I started the project all the way over, and put it into ViewMate and things are obviously way misaligned. What am I doing wrong? Somebody please help me. My files are below in a zipped file. I included all 3 of my attempts plus a small library I created for the BGA.

Buck,
I took your files (rev 3) zipped and sent them to BatchPCB. It passed DRC and I got an email back with an ordering link, as expected.
Along the way I had to rename some of your files to remove the second dot in the file name. Not sure if it got there when I unzipped the file that you supplied.
Anyway, I don’t see any problems with your files! I saw that your earlier work (rev 1?) failed EAGLE DRC due to clearance.
I tried to view your files in ViewMate - I’m a total novice with that tool - and the drill layer certainly didn’t align with the Gerber layers. But I think it’s pilot error at my end. The drill layer scale seemed to be about 100x the Gerber layer scale!
Try cleaning up the filenames, zipping, and resending your files. Let us know what you find out.
