Project using UV LEDs

Hi folks,

I’m trying to make small lights using 10W UV COB chips running at 1050mA. I wanted to see if I could put them in a headlamp but I haven’t found a way to make it work. All I need it to be is a small light with room for a battery compartment, but I’m really new to electronics and don’t quite know where to start. If anyone has experience with a similar project I’d love to hear your advice.

We don’t really carry anything in that power range (9-12v, 900-1050mA) :-/

You could wire this and a 3S lipo (with its mating connector soldered to 2 of the wires of this) and the 2 output wires going to the LED
