Hi,
Today I was taking a closer look on this product:

On the pictures you can clearly see that the 2 pins at the bottom of the QRE1113 sensor are connected to ground.
But if we take a look at the datasheet: http://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Comp … 113.GR.pdf and compare the pinmapping with the pictures of the breakout board, you see that the Cathode of the LED is connected to the GND (which is right of course) but also that the collector of the photodiode is connected to GND…
But on the schematics of the breakout board (which are right according to me), we clearly see that the Emittor of the photodiode should be connected to ground…
Where’s the mistake here?
