Hello. The information about the GPS-23847 antenna is confusing. I’d like to confirm if it receives all four constellations. The description says it receives four constellations, but the documentation only says three. Can you confirm which one is correct? Thank you.
Well it covers the GLONASS L1 (~1602 MHz) and L2 (~1246 MHz) bands, and by the looks a sizable portion of the L-Band including US PointPerfect
Antenna Lower Band 1150-1278 MHz, Upper Band 1550-1610 MHz
The PDF only mentions GPS, GALILEO, BEIDOU
So it’s a mistake in the PDF? It definitely supports Glonass. Thanks.
I don’t work for SparkFun, and don’t have this particular antenna. Might be re-branded from the original manufacturer.
It does look like it should work with multiple bands and multiple constellation, beyond those described.
Some of the staff can presumably recount which receivers and bands this has been tested with.
Can someone at Sparkfun confirm if the antenna receives all four constellations?
Thanks
It might receive some GLONASS (1602MHZ center, ~1610MHX upper band limit in datasheet), but I’d look at Iridium/GPS/GLONASS Passive Antenna instead if you’re after those bands…the difference between the GPS-23847 and this one is Beidou vs GLONASS, looks like
