Qwiic-Bus T-Design

I would like to query climate sensors at several locations in the room. One option would be to use a separate Raspberry and 20-30 meters of qwiic bus cabling for each location. A lot of material, but simple addressing.

I am considering whether T-cabling with qwiic bus would be possible as another variant. A single Raspberry with a 30-meter endpoint-to-midpoint-to-endpoint main line, with some further 10 meters of endpoint-to-endpoint branching from each of the qwiic ports. Is this possible and what are the limits?

For the 2nd plan - The midpoints do not have the required termination resistors; from the guide:

" Terminating Resistors

Related to the above tip, the QwiicBus only functions with controllers (Arduino/SBC/etc.) connected to the EndPoint. As the name may suggest, the EndPoint design includes the required terminating resistors to act as the ends of the QwiicBus. The MidPoint does not include these resistors since they are intended to be inserted in between the EndPoints as nodes."

I think your 1st plan is going to end up being much less of a headache to try and engineer…worst case you could just grab another bus kit
