These are great boards, when they work.
However, EVERY single review for the Qwiic Quad Relay boards reports the relay boards have failed after a short time. Two out of our two relay boards have failed despite using them in applications that are less than half the rated load. That’s 100% failure rate in two weeks.
Is SparkFun reimbursing users for defective boards?
When will this problem get fixed?
When will corrected versions of these board be restocked?
Was it purchased from us? If so head over to www.sparkfun.com/returns (contact vendor if purchased elsewhere) and we’ll get ya squared away
Boards are relatively inexpensive, so getting a refund is not primary. We use these in production products so we need them fixed so they are reliable. Any idea what is causing all the failures, if those failures are being addressed, and when they will be back in stock?
We are looking into this issue now. If you are willing to send your defective units back that would be helpful.
We are not sure what the issue is specifically at this time. We are certainly looking into it and want to fix the issue whether it be a design flaw or components wearing out under normal use.
I looked at our schedule for this product and it seems like no batches are in the works as of now. This can change at any moment. I am unsure when we will have more in stock.
If you do wish to send your parts back we can foot the label. You can fill out a ticket here:

We will update this thread once we know more. Thanks for the information you have provided thus far.
