We are exploring options for installing several display screens throughout our production facility and would like to see if your solutions would be a good fit.
Our goal is to have multiple screens (initially several, with the possibility of adding more in the future) that all display the exact same Microsoft Excel spreadsheet in real time. Ideally, we would like to avoid using a dedicated Windows computer for each screen.
The solution we are envisioning is similar to using a small media player, such as a Raspberry Pi, connected to each display. The devices would open the Excel file (stored in OneDrive/SharePoint using Excel Online) in kiosk mode so that all screens always display the same live information. When the spreadsheet is updated, we would like every display to automatically refresh with the latest changes.
