Can I use this to read radial expansion of a tube using strain gauge in a bridge?

The HX-711 can read just about any strain gauge sensor, but the maximum data collection rate is 80 samples per second.

So what are you saying? The pressure peak is too fast for the sensor?

This would probably be a good job for an analog amp and a storage oscilloscope. The analog amp won’t miss your super short pressure spike and the scope will also graph what it looks like in addition to providing pressure data as a voltage.
