relay to turn LED strips on and off

Hello,

I would like to design a costume that uses the Sewable LED Ribbons, but I would like them to just flash on and off as a whole unit. Since these aren’t powered directly by an Arduino or LilyPad, I image a relay would be used. Is there a simple eTextile relay that can be recommended? Something not bulky that could be sewn in as well.

We don’t have a eTextile relay, but we do have a MOSFET that could be used as a switch to turn your LEDs on and off. The Arduino turns the MOSFET on or off and that in turn turns the LEDs on and off.

Have a look at part number [PRT-11214. I think that will work for you.
