I want to create a simple device that would turn On and Off from 2 - 4 relays for devices that operate on 24V max, remotely.
I need this to be done on a distance of approx 500m.
I was thinking about a couple of RF Long range modems with a Pic connected to them and on the switching part a Darlington IC to control the Relays.
I need this device to operate for atleast 2-3 (more would be better) days without changing the batteries.
My question is.
Is there another way of doing this (cheaper way) ? simpler way?
