Why resistors used to resist the current flow in electrical circuits?
I you do not apply resistors, you have a high change that too much current to damage the components. I advice to study ohm’s law. There are many articles on the internet, but one to start simple : https://www.toppr.com/guides/physics/el … esistance/
paulvha is correct! Resistors physically resist the incoming current, making them a kind of gatekeeper. That energy has to go somewhere and is usually in the form of heat.
