RGB wiring question

Hello, I would like to replace the LED in my nautical compass with an RGB. The boat runs on a 12 V system. I already have a Lumitec controller for volt change and brightness.

I have been searching and found several sites that sell 5 mm and 3 mm RGB bulbs. I have not found any that are pre-wired.

I have seen some wiring solutions (for LED strips) where the terminals insert and are clipped in place.

Is the terminal spacing on the bulbs the same?

Basically, I’m looking for a one stop solution., But I may end up having to pull out the solder iron and roll my own. I’m assuming there is going to be a resistor require on the common cathode

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated

Are you trying to add a light to an existing lighting system/controller already installed on the boat?
