Rs274x Gerber PROBLEM!! HELP!!

Okay, This is my first post, so Hi.

I am new here, but I am desperately seeking help.

I used pad2pad software a while back to design a PCB. I then sent it to a manufacturer, and they said it needs to be in Rs274x Gerber format. it was a .pcb file

I then “exported mechanical image” to DXF, and then I used “Link CAD 5” to convert the DXF to RS274x Gerber.

I used GerbMagic to view the output file, but it was a board with holes on it… No silkscreen, no traces, nothing. I could just see holes. Please help!!!

I am new to this whole thing, and I need this file ASAP. Please, I beg you, help me!

Here is a copy of the .pcb: (if anyone is willing to convert for me)

As I understand it, Pad2Pad is specifically designed to prevent you from producing standard Gerber files that you could send to any board manufacturer - the whole point of the program is to force you to use their manufacturing service!

What you tried with exporting to DXF would only work if you were able to individually export the copper, mask, and silkscreen layers. The “mechanical image” is, of course, only the mechanical details of the board, not the electrical details…

It’s possible that you might be able to buy a Gerber conversion of your file from Pad2Pad, you should check the program’s online ordering options to see if that’s offered.
