I am about to launch a base station/rover construction project to get my autonomous robot to have better geo data. I’m trying to figure out in advance how much load this new data stream will place on my current packet radio telemetry/command system. I’m running an RFM69HW system that has a 60 char packet limit. So I will likely have to break the corrections data into a couple of packets, maybe more.
Can anyone tell me the approx volume and rate of corrections data I can expect from the base station? Is it like NMEA messages ~75 chars per sec? And any other characteristics that might be meaningful…
Thanks much, in advance.
