RTR project enclosure

I’d love a predrilled enclosure kit. Precut ports for a 16x2/20x2 LCD, serial, RJ-45, USB, SD card slot, DC jack, etc. Supply covers for unused ports. Sell panel mount sockets and connectors and the needed cabling to hook them up to select boards. Make a few different size enclosures to match the different ARM/AVR boards.

Yeah, I can do it myself - but it’s really tedious to make cables and I never really seem to manage to make a neat job dremeling shapes like RJ-45. Sell it to me all in a single bag as a reusable prototyping kit - enclosure, covers, connectors, cables, etc.

…take a SMT UBW (I love those things, thanks Brian), mount it on PRT-00137 (small breadboard) and put it in a built-to-fit enclosure. Make a cutout for the USB connector, maybe even riser buttons for the PRG and RESET switches. I just used UBW to build a IR receiver for my HTPC, mounted on the Radio Shack version of your breadboard; I’d buy one of thes boxes just for that, and another for a model railroading project I’m contemplating.

This sort of enclosure would let us folk who are building one-offs that don’t warrant a PCB to encase them nicely…
