Reading through the MSDS sheet for Muriatic acid it states you need a niosh chemical respirator, nitrile gloves, goggles and apron/suit.
I’m just wondering if this is all required for 31.45% Muriatic acid + H202. I never worked with anything more than mild acids in chemistry, so I’d rather be over protected than under. I understand the reaction releases chlorine? This would definitely warrant a proper chemical respirator. Would chemical goggles such as this be sufficient http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VIS … 0498029886 ?
