Servo trigger - servo won't stop rotating

Hi! I’m new to this, though I have some basic electronics experience, mostly diy guitar pedals.

I’m trying to trigger a servo with an RF switch (this one - DC 3.7V - 12V 5V Mini Size Relay Remote Control Switch, 433Mhz Wireless RF Momentary Switch with Delay Function, Transmitter and Receiver for Wireless Control, Toys, DIY, - Amazon.com) using the standard servo trigger board. I got everything connected and but it’s not working as expected.

Once power is connected it starts continually rotating clockwise and does not stop. When I press the RF switch the servo rotates counterclockwise for as long as I hold down the button down. Adjusting the board’s potentiometers doesn’t seem to effect anything.

Here’s a video showing what’s happening - https://imgur.com/a/9tIQ5FR

If it makes a difference I’m using a continuous servo with the generic servo trigger board.

Thanks!
J

This is your issue. You need a regular servo, not a continuous rotation servo.
