Soft Power Switch timing and influence of other caps

Hello Everyone

I am including the Soft Power Switch (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/17870) in my MicroMod Carrier Board.

In sparkfuns implementation the duration is 13s because of the 22uF cap.

What value should that cap have to shutdown in like 2 seconds?

Also are the caps for my 3.3v regulator interfering with the timing?

You will need to experiment with different sized caps to find the timing you want. A smaller cap will produce a shorter time.

Capacitors on your voltage regulator should not affect the timing.
