Sorry for the noob questions…
I have the OLIMEX LPC-2478STK (SFE DEV-08853) and the contents of the CD seem to be old.
From SFE and OLIMEX Site uClinux release notes I should be using
uClinux-dist-lpc_2478_stk-20081007.tgz but, on my CD I have
uClinux-dist-lpc_2478_stk_31_07_08_1.tgz.
How can I get the latest release?
The OLIMEX Site lists two patches:
One for uClinux kernel uClinux-dist-lpc_2478_stk-fixA.patch
How would I install the patch? (I’m afraid I may accidentally patch my kubuntu kernel, instead of the uClinux kernel).
Is the patch already part of uClinux-dist-lpc_2478_stk-20081007.tgz?
The other patch is for u-boot (u-boot-1.3.2-olimex-fixA.patch) SDRAM initialization memory fix patch for the very first lot of boards the SDRAM was not initialized correctly.
My CD comes with u-boot-1.3.2-olimex_31.07.08_1.tgz, so I’m guessing I the u-boot patch is already in the u-boot image.
Any help will be much appreciated!
