Sparkfun ESP32-S3 compatibility with Adafruit Lipo battery and other Feather products

Hello, is the Sparkfun ESP32-S3 fully compatible with Adafruit’s 3.7V LIPO batteries and the Adafruit Ultimate GPS FeatherWing [PA1616D]? If so, is it just plug and play as if I were using a Feather ESP32-S3?

Sparkfun and Adafruit use the same battery connector with the same polarity, they should be interchangeable.

Thanks for checking. For the Sparkfun ESP32-S3 Think Plus, can I connect it to the computer and the battery for charging at the same time? Will I damage the board if I do that?

As long as the battery is 500mAh or larger, you should be able to charge it from the board while plugged into a computer.
