I have a SIK kit with a 4AA battery holder with a male jack. This will produce approximately 6 V, but the female jack for external power on the redboard says 7-15V are required. How am I supposed to use this battery pack if it doesn’t power the redboard? I’d like to run the motors, but I’m hesitant to run them from the USB port due to possibly exceeding the current maximum. Thanks for your help.
Yes, that’s a note in the guide…it CAN be powered by 6v but you will likely have brown-out until swapping to a higher voltage supply
It’s at least enough to get it tested a bit though
