Sparkfun Magazine?

Is it feasible for Sparkfun to have a mailable dead tree publication of cool stuff every month? Something I can pass around at work and promote fun with electronics? Hard copies of electronics projects have always been a great way for me to spend hours passing the time, tinkering, and developing the ideas. The ads for the cool parts alone would make a great catalog. I believe Sparkfun is doing great to revive electronics as a hobby and a paper edition would reach the world.

It’s a pretty difficult business trying to sell magazines in today’s digital world.

I buy the digital version of Circuit Cellar magazine (which is very good), but they are about to merge with Elektor. Hopefully the style and quality is maintained. Anyway, I think it would be pretty difficult for any newcomers to this market…

www.circuitcellar.com is one, www.nutsvolts.com is another. Steve Ciarcia has been around a long time, I remember when he used to publish his article in Byte magazine. He always has good stuff.
