I connected the board to the usb port but it isn’t recognized on my mac. I followed the instructions but still can’t make it work.
Hello.
Have you been able to program the board before? Have you tried the board on a PC and if so, how does the board show up there?
yes I’ve tried it on a PC but the port was not recognized as well. This is a brand new board so I didn’t program it before. I saw in the forum that people are having problems connecting the board to a 3.0 usb port but my mac has only 4 3.0 usb ports.
If I plug my arduino nano to my mac it get recognized so I don’t think the computer is the problem. can I reset the board? I understand I have to connect the rst and ground but I don’t really understand how to do that.
We haven’t seen any issues with these on a Mac or on a USB3 port, but if you attempt to upload code to them with the wrong settings in Arduino, you can ‘brick’ them. Fortunately this is reversible if it has happened to your board.
