Like a film getting dark/blue due to Xray exposure. The level of darkness or change in hue will quantify the exposure.
Not without shining some sort of light on the film but that might also cause the film to change.
The film is not affected by visible/UV rays. Only X-rays. I am trying to quantify total X-ray exposure on a film. What should I use ? This spectroscopy sensor or an ordinary colour sensor .
Shine uniform white light from a stable source through the film and use the sensor to quantitate absorption at various wavelengths. You will need to record a blank (no film) and then take intensity ratios at each wavelength.
