STM32W

Hi,

just a question out of curiosity.

Has anyone ever used the stm32w?. ST says it is an ARM cortex m3 and includes a wireless link. To me, this would seem quite attractive, but it does not seem to be well supported yet :frowning:

The Cortex parts are pretty impressive, I’ve been using an LPC1756. Running at 100 MHz, its more than double the speed of the 60 MHz LPC21xx ARM7s.

Yagarto GCC tools work fine, we’ve compiled our BASIC with it as well.

Well, I was thinking about the wireless part of the device. There seem to be some articles about the stm32 but nothing on the stm32w :frowning:

Anyways, Thanks for the reply.

Are they available yet? AFAIK, only some lead customers may have received pre-production samples. I asked the local ST rep if they could get samples and was told that they are not yet available.

Well, that explains why I couldn’t find anything…
